Details:

This Spring is located on the driver side of the transmission cross mount, the 180 deg. end hooks the cross member and the other end with the pigtail wraps around the cable at the stop location. This spring provides tension in the system and allows the foot pedal to return to the open position. With out this Spring the pedal will not return and the cable system will drag.  This spring is a must for the system to operate properly.
