Factory stock muffler clamp - The clamp surround is plated silver zinc, the
strap is phosphate and the flange nuts are silver zinc. These clamps are used to
hold the head pipe to the muffler and the muffler and tail pipe to the hanger.
We have seen many variations of this clamp - on the original cars there were
several manufactures supplying the automotive industry with muffler clamps. The
body shape can vary and the dia of the strap has also been seen in both 5/16 dia
or 3/8"
