Proportioning Valve - GM

1970 Chevrolet Impala Factory Hold Off Valve

Cast Iron

$89.00

GM Valve Notes:

This is the golf ball size valve that hangs off the driver side stud of the master cylinder. This hold off valve came on all factory disc brake cars. It is part one of the two or three part valve system. All the cars, whether disc or drum, had the same valve on the frame. The disc cars had this hold off valve in addition to the frame valve. They must be used together. These valves are often confused. The year span is 1967-68, 69, 70, and then in 71, all disc cars used one piece prop valve. GM combined the hold off valve and incorporated it into the disc/drum proportional valve.
